Qi Gong (pronounced "Chi Kung") means “energy work.”  It is an ancient system of exercises and meditations that promote good health and longevity.  Energy in our body is like water.  An example is that energy tends to move downward in a negative direction.  In order to direct the energy within our body to flow upward, we must first convert it to positive energy.  By using our mind combined with specific gentle, yet powerful exercises, we can change the energy of negative emotions and thoughts that are stored in our body into positive energy, thereby increasing our good health.

Why do it?  Increase Energy and Good Health!  Think Positive!  Be Happy!  

Bring your body, bottled water and a towel.  Dress casually with loose fitting clothes (shorts OK) and tennis shoes/sneakers.

***For those with serious or chronic medical issues or if you are taking medications, please consult with your physician first before participating.  Although the exercises are not overly strenuous, there is movement of the joints and torso plus stretching, bending and standing for periods of time.***
